UTAH: AIDS Walk Keeps Memories Alive

Deseret Morning News (Salt Lake City) (09.16.07) - Tuesday,

Nineteen years after its first such event was held, the Utah AIDS Foundation gathered supporters Saturday for its annual walkathon. "In the beginning it was more about the fundraiser," said David Ferguson, the foundation's programming director. "Now it's a reunion in some ways." More than 250 people took part in this year's event at Liberty Park. The funds raised will go to the foundation's outreach, education, support, and testing efforts. For more information, visit
