AIDS Policy Law. 1998 Nov 27;13(21):6. Unique Identifier : AIDSLINE

A report from the Center for Health Policy Research at George Washington University will aim to help AIDS policy advocates influence the direction and management of Medicaid managed-care programs. The report is expected to provide purchasing specifications that States can use when shopping for managed-care providers, since more States are moving toward managed-care programs. The drafting of managed-care contracts is crucial to the success of the programs and should include issues such as availability of condoms and access to primary and secondary preventive services. The report will be available on the Center's web site. Contact information is provided.
