WASHINGTON: Remembering Who Died, Those Living with AIDS: AIDS Walk & 5K Run

Seattle Times (09.25.11) - Wednesday, September 28, 2011

Saturday's 25th annual Seattle AIDS Walk & 5K Run drew an estimated 3,000 people to Volunteer Park and raised more than $300,000 for the Lifelong AIDS Alliance. "Twenty-five years after we started this walk, we have more people every day living with HIV than we had the day before," said Randy Russell, CEO of the alliance, who worries about the prevalence of AIDS complacency among young men who did not experience the trauma of the epidemic's early years.
