GEORGIA: AIDS Walk Raises $915,000, Still Hoping for More Donations


Project Q Atlanta (10.27.11) - Monday, October 31, 2011

The 21st annual AIDS Walk Atlanta & 5K Run on Oct. 16 attracted more than 8,000 registered participants and raised some $728,000 for AID Atlanta and nine other HIV agencies. Online contributions since the event have pushed the total to $915,000. Before the donation period closes on Nov. 30, organizers hope to surpass the $925,000 the walk raised last year.
