Associated Press (11.30.11) - Thursday, December 01, 2011

"The poor and the vulnerable must not be made to pay the price," said Michel Kazatchkine. Christoph Benn, a fund official, said that in addition to cutbacks stemming from US and European budget issues, the fund has faced a backlash over money lost to corruption and misspending.
