OREGON: District Launches Birth Control Survey

The Oregonian (Portland) (01.21.12) - Monday, January 23,

The Tigard-Tualatin School District has launched an online survey to collect the public's feedback on a proposal to offer prescription birth control and condoms at Tigard High's School-Based Health Center. The self-funded health center, which opened in 2008, already offers reproductive health services that include pregnancy testing and STD testing and treatment. The district hosted a listening session Saturday morning and will hold another on Thursday, Jan. 26, at 6:30 p.m. in the Tigard High Library, 9000 S.W. Durham Road. The four-question survey is available at www.surveymonkey.com/s/HZXJXQC. [PNU editor's note: For more on this story, see CDC PNU for Jan. 18.]
