IOWA: Does Iowa Need an HPV Program? Senate Subcommittee Says Yes

A Senate Human Resources subcommittee has voted in favor of a measure that would allocate $250,000 for the state health department to launch a public awareness program about vaccination against human papillomavirus. Senate Study Bill 3097 also includes vaccinations for low-income women ages 19- 26 without health coverage. The bill now advances to the full committee.
