The San Francisco AIDS Foundation will hold a free community
forum tonight to examine current thinking on HIV and alcohol.
Forum participants will include SFAF CEO Neil Giuliano; the
director of research at the city Department of Public Health's
HIV prevention section, Dr. Susan Buchbinder; SFAF's director
of behavioral health sciences, Michael Siever, PhD; and
Lookout bar owner Chris Hastings. The meeting will examine how
alcohol affects HIV risk and HIV health, and how city
officials and others are addressing this "forgotten drug" in
the context of HIV/AIDS. The forum will take place 6-8 p.m. at
the LGBT Community Center, 1800 Market St. For more
