In Memoriam: Randy Allgaier
This issue of BETA is dedicated to the memory of Randy Allgaier, a local and national hero in the fight against AIDS, who passed away on November 27. Randy was a former SFAF staff member, a warm and collegial community advocate, and a true champion for people living with HIV and AIDS in San Francisco and beyond. This issue of BETA includes an article on aging with HIV and a feature story on HIV and cancer—topics central to Randy’s recent passions and personal experience. We will miss him sorely.
