The 4th PIJAAG (Pacific Island Jurisdictions AIDS Action Group) Regional Summit on HIV/AIDS will be held November 13–15 at the Guam Hyatt Regency Hotel, according to Guam’s Department of Public Health and Social Services. The summit’s theme is “Strengthening Our Fight Against HIV/AIDS in the Pacific,” and it expects to bring together approximately 150 service providers, volunteers, practitioners, social and health professionals, government officials, community leaders, and other individuals impacted by HIV/AIDS. Some of the summit’s goals include sharing HIV/AIDS surveillance and STI data trends; developing appropriate prevention, treatment, and care strategies; and exploring opportunities for networking and collaboration between providers and stakeholders.
