UNITED STATES: CDC Offers Free STD Treatment Guidelines App

CDC’s Division of STD Prevention has launched a mobile application that will provide access for healthcare professionals to the current edition of the STD Treatment Guidelines as well as diagnostic information. Healthcare providers using the app will have quick access to information on diagnosing and treating 21 STDs, treatment guidelines for individuals who have suffered sexual assault, and a guide for taking a sexual history. The STD Treatment Guidelines mobile app is available in English, German, Northern Sami, and Spanish languages. It can be downloaded for free for Apple devices from iTunes and for Android devices from Google Play.
