Valley Morning Star (01.05.2014)

The Valley Morning Star reported that a new state-of-the-art HIV/AIDS clinic opened recently in Harlingen, Texas. According to the Valley AIDS Council, the Westbrook Clinic, located at 2306 Camelot Plaza, is the only comprehensive HIV/AIDS care facility in south Texas, providing complete specialized HIV medical care for adults, teens, and children. The clinic has 15 exam rooms, meeting rooms, a lab, offices, and a pharmacy, and can provide counseling as well as specialized dental care. Clinic Director Dr. Ruben D. Martinez said that the clinic also will work to dispel the stigma of HIV through education in the community.
