U-T San Diego reported Vista Community Clinic in Vista, Calif., received a $25,000 grant for its “Choices” teen sex education program and health services clinic. The funds, from the S. Mark Taper Foundation, will allow the clinic to hire a health educator and expand its outreach to youth in Vista and Oceanside. Through its Choices clinic, the program provides youth ages 12–19 with free reproductive health education and services, including access to birth control, STD testing, and pregnancy testing. The Vale Terrace Teen Clinic is open 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Mondays–Thursdays; 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Fridays; and 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturdays at 1000 Vale Terrace, Vista. The Horne Street Teen Clinic is open 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Mondays–Fridays; and 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturdays at 517 North Horne Street, Oceanside.
