Fight City Hall? If You Can Find It; 'Routine' Security




 

To the Editor:

According to New York City officials, security for the AIDS protest at City Hall was routine (news article, Dec. 2). Yet when there was a celebration of John Glenn's flight, there were no visible sharpshooters, nor was there one police officer for every two or so people in attendance.
