Charlotte Observer (03.29.12) - Friday, March 30, 2012 As part of the observance of National Public Health Week at the University of North Carolina-Charlotte, a CDC official will present a free lecture on Monday entitled "Prevention: The Great Equalizer." Leandris Liburd, PhD, MPH, MA, the director of the Office of Minority Health and Health Equity, will speak in the Student Union Movie Theater at 6 p.m.; a reception will follow at 7:30 p.m. For reservations, visit http://health.uncc.edu/health_dialogue.
