Hundreds of thousands of fans are expected to attend the
upcoming Euro 2012 soccer tournament, and Polish public health
officials will be targeting them with the "Fair Play" campaign
to promote safer sex. Some 150,000 free kits with condoms and
informational leaflets - in Polish, Ukrainian, Russian,
English, German, and Spanish - will be distributed at fan
zones in all four Polish host cities, said Aleksander
Soplinski, the deputy health minister. The tournament opens
June 8 in Warsaw and continues through July 1 in Poland and
Ukraine.
