KYRGYZSTAN: Germany to Grant Kyrgyzstan €11.5 M for Fight Against Tuberculosis

Germany has given an € 11.5 million grant to Kyrgyzstan for two tuberculosis prevention projects. The first project, construction of a TB laboratory with the third level of biosecurity, is completed, and German specialists will be installing the diagnostic equipment in May. The second project, construction of a 150-bed, TB hospital, is expected to begin this year.
