FLORIDA: Simply Healthcare Expands HIV/AIDS Medicaid Plan


The Florida Agency for Health Care Administration approved Clear Health Alliance’s expansion of its services to Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Polk counties. Previously, the plan only was available in Broward and Miami-Dade counties. Clear Health Alliance is an HIV/AIDS Medicaid specialty plan offered by Simply Healthcare Plans, Inc. According to Marianne Finizio, executive vice president of Clear Health Alliance, the healthcare access expansion will help meet the HIV/AIDS Medicaid recipients’ demand for services, particularly in underserved and urban communities. Clear Health Alliance provides benefits, service, and care coordination as well as bundled services such as meals, vision care, and transportation for people with HIV/AIDS.
