South Florida Gay News (Wilton Manors, Fla.) (07.25.2013) Aids Weekly Plus

On July 22, Bill’s Filling Station in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., raised nearly $10,000 through its annual “Bartenders, Boxers, and Briefs” fundraising event. The bar will donate the funds to the local nonprofit Tuesday’s Angels, which offers financial assistance to HIV-positive individuals in Broward County. Local area bartenders helped the event by modeling clothing that was auctioned off to the event’s several hundred attendees. For more information on Tuesday’s Angels, visit
