MISSOURI: Mo. Bill Requires Colleges to Have TB Tests




 

Receiving both house and senate approval earlier in the week, the Missouri legislature has sent Governor Jay Nixon a bill requiring colleges and universities to formulate targeted TB screening programs. The legislation would target students and faculty considered to be at high risk for contracting TB and would not allow enrollment in classes for those who refuse to participate in the screening program.
