LOUISIANA: HIV Testing Events to Be Offered Monday in Algiers and the East Bank by Magic Johnson Foundation

Two HIV testing outreaches are being held Monday, thanks to the Magic Johnson Foundation, the NO/AIDS Task Force, Kingsley House, and Common Ground Health Clinic. The event from 7 to 9 p.m. at L.B. Landry High School, 1200 L.B. Landry Ave. in Algiers, will feature screenings for HIV, syphilis, and other health conditions, plus food, games, and a gift-card raffle. A youth-focused gathering from 4 to 8 p.m. at Kingsley House, 1600 Constance St. in New Orleans, will offer HIV testing, games, food, and clothing and gift-card giveaways.
