December 1, 2011
Associated Press (12.01.11) - Thursday, December 01, 2011

Fifteen buildings around Rhode Island's capital city - including the Statehouse, Providence City Hall, the Rhode Island Convention Center, and several large office towers - will be bathed in red light tonight to mark World AIDS Day. Providence Mayor Angel Taveras will host an awareness event at the Biltmore Hotel; joining him will be Rhode Island first lady Stephanie Chafee, who was one of the state's first nurses to care for AIDS patients.
