The Atlanta-based Living Room, which provides housing services for people living with HIV/AIDS, has expanded to Rome and Dalton in north Georgia. The nonprofit, whose services include emergency financial help and long-term rental assistance, will operate from the Living Bridge Center in Dalton. Gilsia Hernandez will serve as case manager for the region's Special Needs Housing Assistance Program. The work is supported through a grant from the Georgia Department of Community Affairs' Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS.
