Treatment Review #15; December 1994

Protein is made up of amino acids. Peptide T, a drug made from strings of amino acids, is now being tested as a treatment for AIDS Dementia Complex (ADC) at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City. Peptide T has been tested as a treatment for AIDS, although no significant benefits were seen. Those receiving the drug in other studies had no side major effects. Some people reported an improvement in their quality of life, and constitutional symptoms. Call The Network for more information about this new study.
