On Wednesday, National HIV Testing Day, AIDS Project Rhode Island will kick off a new effort in which couples, as well as individuals, can undergo free, anonymous HIV testing at its Providence office. The new initiative offers the opportunity for partners to get tested together and discuss the results with a trained counselor, said Thomas Bertrand, the group’s executive director.
