UNITED KINGDOM: HPA Reports Two Percent Increase in STDs

Top News Arab Emirates (12.06.12)The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has released a report stating that there is a 2 percent rise in STDs in the UK. The study also revealed that 38 percent of men were unable to recognize STDs based on their symptoms. According to Dr. Tom Brett, head of a research group, a similar study conducted by Lloydspharmacy Online focused on how knowledgeable men are about STDs and how to take action before problems become serious. The Lloyds Pharmacy research findings indicated that while 90 percent of the men could easily locate parts of their car engine, only 50 percent could do the same when asked about their sexual organs and STDs.
