Baltimore will become the first Maryland city and only the 15th US city to offer a couples-based HIV testing and counseling program. According to Orrin D. Ware, research project coordinator of STAR TRACK Adolescent HIV Program, the program will help meet a growing demand from couples who would like professionals to provide HIV testing, results, and sexual health counseling for both partners simultaneously so that both partners can hear the same information and plan their futures together. Beginning June 10, the program will occur on Tuesdays, from 12:00 noon to 4:30 p.m., at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, 120 Penn Street, Baltimore, MD 21201. Walk-ins are welcome or call (410) 706–2000.
