WASHINGTON: Edmonds School District Offers Public Opportunity to Review Sex Education Curriculum on Wednesday

MLT News reported that the public is invited to review the Edmonds, Wash., School District’s sexual education and disease prevention curriculum on December 11 from 4:00 to 7:30 p.m. at the Educational Service Center, 20420 68th Avenue West in Lynnwood, Wash. State law requires that schools teach sexual education and disease prevention to all grade 5–12 students each year. Teachers use two state-approved programs to teach about HIV/AIDS, STDs and their prevention, as well as the reproductive system, growth and development, and conception.
