Michigan Radio reported that Kalamazoo, Mich., health officials are working to ease parent concerns after a high school student tested positive for TB last week. Kalamazoo County Health Department Director Linda Vail said they are notifying parents and students, and will test those who may have been exposed and report the results to the state. The health department will test 300 individuals on February 17 and again in a few weeks; however, according to Vail, no one has exhibited TB symptoms.
