Question:

I have a 16 year old newly bisexual male friend. Just the other day he was making out with his boyfriend. And by making out I mean deeply kissing. I am very scared that he might get HIV or some other disease. Can he get HIV or some other disease from just kissing him? I am very scared for him.

HIV does not transmit through saliva, and please refer to the enclosed CDC guidelines for more information on its transmission:
www.cdc.gov/hiv/resources/factsheets/transmission.htm

It is unlikely he would get any other serious diseases, although hepatitis B could be transmitted in this way.
