The British HIV Association (BHIVA) has now evolved from a fledgling organisation into a 800-member association with a commitment to provide excellence in the care of HIV-infected individuals. The aims and objectives of our association are outlined on the next page and have provided the foundation for our growth. The BHIVA Executive committee, has tirelessly worked to establish the association over the last few years. BHIVA holds two regular annual conferences, which encourages UK research to be presented in a formal setting and invites eminent international speakers to present state of the art data to BHIVA members.BHIVA has developed important links with other relevant organisations,encouraging exchange of information between national and international centres. These include the IAS, EACS, NAM, BASHH, MRC and so on. |
