OBJECTIVE: To describe and demonstrate use of STD/AIDS educational resources for people with intellectual disabilities produced by the Family Planning Association Victoria (Australia).

METHOD: Discussion of the need for accessible information for people with intellectual disabilities. Demonstration of various educational "models"/programs within which STD/AIDS education might be incorporated.

RESULTS: Demonstration of education resources produced by The Family Planning Association of Victoria.

CONCLUSION: Results of the trial use of educational resources with individuals and groups with intellectual disabilities and their care-givers.
