OBJECTIVE: To improve the quality of life of women living with HIV/AIDS throughout specific information on AIDS, drugs, safer sex and counselling.

METHODS: In-depth interviews and a specific survey to get information about AIDS and STD's feedback of information through workshops.

RESULTS: Women in Mexico should take care of their family and in the case of women living with HIV/AIDS they are by themselves; our group gives them education and better alternatives for their situation.

CONCLUSION: Having received information, support and being able to communicate their feelings women improve their quality of life and face in a better way the AIDS virus.
