The BfA takes special care in dealing with these patients who are under extreme physical and psychosocial stress. This report describes longterm experience both in the fields of medical and occupational rehabilitation and with respect to the processing of pension claims The possibilities and limitation for rehabilitation are discussed. One particular problem focussed on is the socio-medical assessments of the patient.
