OBJECTIVE: To know the KAP of religious community about HIV/AIDS and sexual attitude, and to increase their commitment on preventing HIV transmission through religious way. MATERIALS AND METHODS: A quasi-experimental study of five different religious community in Indonesia, during its activities using the KAP questioners module.

RESULTS: Poor knowledge and attitude of the religious community especially the youth about HIV/AIDS and sexual desire are very strong drive to abnormal practices because of poor relationship with GOD. To strengthening the family life through religions base on the holy marriage will reject all the abnormal sexual drive. HIV infected is equal to sinful and the cause of sin is hell, AIDS patient will die in a short time because of no treatment, unless GOD gives forgiveness because of his or her faith. All of His promises are still available in the Holy Bible.

DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSION: Love is the only base of holy marriage with practising GOD's commandment will lead the family to the wright way of life. It is the only way to prevent and to cure the HIV/AIDS.
