Call for socio/economic equalities for PLW HIV/AIDS in Africa.

ISSUES: PLWAs in development countries suffer effects of psychosocial isolation and torture in the communities thus limiting their efforts towards economic development. They are denied chances of high educational standardsand leadership positions. In Mifumi, PLWAs think they are bewitched hence neglecting medical treatment in preferance to traditional healing..

METHODS: Community engagement and organisation/societies in community participation and rural based research. Increase social network interventions for PLWAs.

RESULTS: strural adjustment programmes and health centre reproductive health centre. establish health and community based institutions to access coninuity of care, treatment and assess the psychosocial impact of the epidemic on individual, communities and societies.

CONCLUSIONS: Integrated labour force for better health, welfare and PLWAs
