METHODS: ...is aimed at an audience often neglected in similar conference: youth and their educators. This scientific session is aimed at complementing the independent abstracts submitted to the conference, by providing a high level scientific framework for exchanges of research and knowledge in the following areas: a. School AIDS Prevention - What does Behavioral Science teach us b. Curriculum for HIV/AIDS prevention - successes and failures (Brazil, Barcelona, Egypt) c. Research and methodology issues in school AIDS education d. Policy - Helping countries develop new curriculum for AIDS prevention In partnership with UNESCO HQ, Bangkok & Dakar Regional Offices, and Accra Country Office, the International Bureau of Education (IBE), which has the UN mandate in this field, will coordinate this bridging session, taking into account gender, geographical and nationalty balance.
