ISSUES. At the time HIV/AIDS and STDs epidemic spreaded into population, indicate among others by infection among wives and children, injencting drug users, the existed reports about those problems in mass media do not urge people to protect themselves actively. The news in mass media precisely make myths and stigma prosper. If this situation is allowed the efforts to increase people attention of HIV/AIDS, STDs, and drug abuse prevention would be stay useless. In connecting to the problem news bias are happened because most of journalist stand on moral and their personal moral value at the time they write news and features. The result of published news and features are unobjective and tend to judge. DESCRIPTION. That thing has been proved by most of people attitude and response that are still ignoring medical fact related to HIV/AIDS, STDs and drug abuse. They choose more aspects of behaviour, moral or religion as a focus of discussion. LESSON LEARNED. All those things are happened because journalist do not write news and features in a compassion with objective, accurate and fair. Recommmendation. Journalist must writing objective, accurate and fair news and features about HIV/AIDS, STDs and drug abuse.
