ISSUES: Help in reducing the rate of infection of HIV in Gulf Health District

DESCRIPTION: - Drawing up an action plan - Installation of a "IEC" Prefectorial Team - Training of health Staff in prevention of infections - Identification of NGO's/Associations in fighting against AIDS in the Gulf District - Involvement of the "Traditheurapeutes Traditionals and Religious Leaders in the strategies of fighting - Follow up of the activities of receipt of people living with HIV/AIDS at the level of certain associations

ISSUES: - An action plan is elaborated and presented at the central level - A dynamic and multidisciplinary "IEC" Team was set up - The NGO's and Associations fighting against HIV/AIDS of which an association of people living with HIV have been recorded - 6 working sessions have been done with the religious, traditional and traditheurapeutes leaders - 18 health officers have been trained in thr 9 USPof Gulf - 14 follows up supervisions activities at the level of ASPROFEM

RECOMMENDATIONS: This involvement will allow a better coordination of actions of different partners for more efficiency in fighting against AIDS in the Gulf
