[ABSTRACT:] Problem: In this moment in Mexico exist more of 6,500 PLWA's without social security that they don't receive nothing class of medical attention and consecuently don't have any alternative of life.
DESCRIPTION: During the present year of 2001,we were many work's meetings with the comisiones legislatives comissions of finances and health of the representatives congress. in first place we obtain sensitize to the representatives and after summons to all the organizations of the community and ong's with work in aids, for in a combined way to present a formally propound of enough financial resources for the federal budget of the year 2002 of 46 million dollars that allow to give integral medical attention to the 6,500 PLWA's that don't have security social.
Learned lesson: We take the discussion from the VIH/SIDA to the representatives congress; we present a formal propound with professional basis, analysis and you achievement the assignment of a financial budget specifies for the dedicated year 2002 to the PLWA's without social security whose I even mount this in the representatives congress and will be assigned during the next February 2002.
Recommendation: It is necessary to continue this year with the trabajo de lobbing work in the representatives congress and continue with the work carried out for next year to obtain budget until achieving the universal attention of the PLWA's in the country. it is also urgent to strengthen the work of unit between all the PLWA's and the ong's with work in VIH/SIDA until achieve the universal attention as well as it is important to maintain the capacity that today we have in the representatives congress and the drawees of decisions to impact in the assignment of Federal budgets in VIH/SIDA.
