ISSUES: Volunteers Against AIDS is a NGO in Rosario who is working from 1987, very diversified prevention strategies were used. It is born among the gay community in Rosario, afterwards our society is opened to the whole people in town by 1993, setting up another strategies having in mind that activities are planned according to the demand, analyzing the impact later. Each alteration or another sensitization and mobilization activity is analyzed through surveys, workshops, etc. Our organization is co-founder and member of the Health Educational Board Organizing Committee, took part of the Argentinean AIDS Society, co-founder and member of the NGO's NE Argentine Meeting; about AIDS being in front of the AIDS Municipal Program Consulting Committee in the city of Rosario. A global strategy was developed about prevention, rising new services, such as: Advisory and Detection Service, Psychology Service, Training Course in Human Resources about AIDS and Sexually Transmitted Diseases Prevention, Workshops, Legal Advisory Service, Labor Training Workshops.

DESCRIPTION: The strategy was precise first building it up in a global way then, prioritizing the assistance and prevention. Within this context new goes were born just to be reached in part or totally. Nowadays we ask ourselves: Where do we discuss(place) prevention within this social-political-cultural context in Argentina?

ISSUES: The results were varied and positive expanding each service and rethinking day in day out how to reach the initial goes here and now. Focalized and general projects are being generated, overcoming supports within a social changing context. RECOMMENDATION: Setting up short terms objectives. Learning each day from and with the demand. growing each day together, granting a privilege to prevention and assistance, in spite of the chaotic context our organization is working nowadays.
