Welcome to AEGiS...

Welcome to AEGiS:

AFTER 30 LONG YEARS, AEGiS is undergoing a re-birth. The site is still under construction as we migrate data into the new more efficient database, so please be patient. If you find a link broken on the new site, please contact tech support and let us know what the problem is that you found. Thank you from all of us here at AEGiS.

The AIDS Education Global information System (AEGiS) is a 501c(3) not-for-profit organization that was established in response to the growing HIV/AIDS pandemic.

Our mission is aimed to:
  • Facilitate access to current patient/clinician information specific to HIV/AIDS via our website and its specified services, and
  • Preserve for future generations a global history of the pandemic with our historical news, scientific publications and treatment database.

Since AEGiS' inception, it has matured into the largest free-access virtual AIDS library on earth.

Today, AEGiS consists of more than 450,282 articles. Our Ask the Doc forum allows users to submit real-life questions to our panel of HIV specialists.

For more than 30 years AEGiS has kept pace with the social and clinical aspects of HIV/AIDS. We believe that the dissemination of potentially life saving information has made a difference to many people throughout the world. For those that have HIV management questions and needs, AEGiS has proved to be a trusted source. AEGiS serves to illuminate all developments on the HIV/AIDS front, the question is:

“What do you want to know about HIV/AIDS today?”
