[Access to Care]

Up to $200 payment help per HIV med

Information about co-payment programs and other help accessing the drugs Selzentry (maraviroc), Rescriptor (delavirdine), and Viracept (nelfinavir) at http://www.atdn.org/access/pa.html as well as information about a new tablet formulation of ritonavir, known as Norvir, that has been FDA approved.

Norvir is a drug that has been used mainly as a "booster" for many years. The new formulation doesn't need refrigeration. It is possible that some newer side effects will occur with the new formulation - the old version will still be around, at the same price according to the drug's maker - but this may be avoidable by discussing any changes with your Housing Works health care provider or another professional. Eligibility for these programs is determined by the companies that make these drugs.

Please Help Now

Housing Works is collecting cash and certain specific medical supplies at all locations where they provide primary care and other integrated health services, as well as Housing Works Thrift shops and bookstores. But you can also go directly to www.housingworks.org and make a donation online. The money will buy relief supplies in Miami and the Dominican Republic to deliver to PHAP+, the association of organizations of people living with HIV in Haiti.

The situation is incredibly desperate. Money helps best. You're doing a really great thing for millions of people who have had their entire families, children, lovers, friends and colleagues torn from their lives. Many people are seriously hurt, or missing. Showing that you care with a donation - if you can - will make a very big difference. Your kindness and generosity will come back to you. Thank You.
