Return to The Access ProjectAnti-HIV DrugsClients are allowed a maximum of 5 drugs in Category-I plus a reduced dose of ritonavir up to a total of $2,000 monthly benefit. Ritonavir acts in a synergistic effect to booster the benefit of certain other anti-HIV drugs.In addition, ADAP allows access to 3 other more expensive drugs in Category-V by prior approval. This means there should not be a problem if you need 4 or 5 antiretrovirals drugs plus ritonavir.
