The response to my "Day One" piece has been overwhelming. I added this extra web page as a kind of "Wynn's Frequently Asked Questions" (or, Frequently Questioned Answers as the case may be) because I often take days/weeks/months to answer e-mail.
| Q. |
May I reprint "Day One?" |
| A. |
Probably, but you need to contact ÆGIS, not me. The Sisters of St. Elizabeth of Hungary own the copyright. In general, they have granted permission to reprint if you do all of the following --
- Don't modify the material.
- Maintain the ÆGIS copyright. -- ©1996,1999. ÆGIS.
- Include the web site's address. -- http://www.aegis.com
- Send a copy of the publication to the convent.
- If you make money on the publication, send a donation to AEGIS.
If you think you can do all of those items, you can get permission to reprint by sending an e-mail message to -- webmaster@aegis.com

| Q. |
How can I say 'Thanks'? |
| A. |
- ÆGIS is run by a convent, and the nuns really like to hear from users -- click here.
They're actually pretty cool nuns. Did you notice that I used the word "piss" in the Day One piece? How many nuns do you think would let something like that slide? What it means is this: they are more interested in getting information out than playing Goodie Two Shoes with the content. I like that in a nun.
Did you realize that the webmaster is a nun who is almost legally blind? Sister Mary Elizabeth's daily chores on this web site take a great deal of effort. It's important that users let her know how important her work is.
- The absolute best way for you to say thanks is to help. The nuns always need something -- money, content for the web site. The convent would appreciate whatever you can do to help with the web site. To find out more, click here.
- Major sponsors of the web site are always shown on the home page. Telling them thanks is a nice gesture. If they don't hear from users from time to time, they may start thinking this web site is a money pit, if you know what I mean.
- Last and least, you can reach me here -- ww3 @ divanet.com I say least because I think those other three things are the most important.

| Q. |
Are you the same person who wrote Opus BBS? |
| A. |
Yeah. (How many 'Wynn Wagners' can there be?) ;-)
|
|
| Q. |
Is Opus 'Y2k Compliant'? |
| A. |
No. Opus isn't even leap year compliant, for crying out loud.
