The Incidence of Drug Resistance in the U.S.

Research has shown that HIV with reduced drug susceptibility is prevalent in 26% of newly infected patients, and in 75% of patients failing triple combination therapy. As drug resistance becomes a more significant factor in antiviral therapy, it could potentially change how HIV is treated.
